How do we feed everybody?

Scenario: Power is out, and it doesn't look like it's coming back anytime soon. The gas pumps are empty. What now?
Maybe you are a "prepper" and have 5 years of food tucked away. Good for you.
If you're not, then what will you do now? This is where it becomes important for the community and government to work together and have a plan beforehand. Would farmers be willing to feed people who work in the fields and plant and weed and harvest the crops? How can we use our local hunters and fishers so that people are fed, without killing every deer, squirrel, raccoon, and opossum in the county the first year? What can you do to help?
